BROOKLYN, N.Y., Oct. 17, 2026 — Fixins 1.2.1 is available today on the App Store, ready for iPhone Duo ahead of the device going on sale on October 23. Fixins matches what's already in your kitchen to thousands of recipes from real food creators, and on iPhone Duo it spreads across both displays and works around the fold.
Open the phone and Fixins fills the inner display. Hold it sideways and recipes, cooking, nutrition and your kitchen settle onto both sides of the fold. Prop it on the counter and the current step stands up while the ingredients lie flat. Fold it partway and your pantry and grocery list dock beside whatever you are looking at.
The update also comes to every iPhone. A profile photo can now be your Settings tab icon, and the sex, age, height and weight behind your nutrition goals are worked out on your iPhone and never leave it.
“We built Fixins so dinner starts from what is already in your kitchen. On iPhone Duo, the recipe and your kitchen finally sit side by side.”
On iPhone Duo
- Open it up. Fixins fills the whole inner display and lays itself out around the fold. Hold it sideways and recipes, cooking, nutrition and your kitchen settle onto both sides. Fold it partway and the buttons stay clear of the crease.
- Scan with both sides. Hold it sideways and the camera fills the right, just like on the closed phone. Your pantry, today's meals or your recipe collection sits on the left.
- Cook with both hands free. Ingredients sit next to the steps. Prop the phone on the counter and the step stands up while the ingredients lie flat. Fold or unfold mid-recipe and you stay on your step.
- Your kitchen, docked. Fold the phone partway and your pantry and list slide in beside whatever you're looking at.
